Cheri Sorenson

Cheri Sorensen was born and raised in central Iowa, and attended Saydel High School. An early interest in horses fueled a passion for capturing the beauty of the equine form. Cheri remembers working as a trail guide and spending much of her free time with pencil in hand when she was growing up.

A self taught artist Cheri has accumulated a number of awards and honors including winning the Kansas Wildlife Art Series, Duck’s Unlimited Artist of the year for an Iowa Chapter, Elk Breeders Association Artist of the Year, and a number of others. Her artwork has been featured in a number of magazines and used for advertising horse related products.
